Additional Costs

To qualify for this service, your Web Address / Domain Name must reside on our Servers.

If you have already registered a Domain Name with another supplier, then full assistance is given at no extra charge to help transfer your Domain Name over to our servers. Dot.co.uk Domain Names can be transfered free-of-charge. An additional £13 plus VAT will be added for transferring .com Domain Names, however, this also includes an extra year being added to your Domain Name.

If you do not own a Web Address, then you can search for and register your Domain Name during the registration process. Dot.co.uk are £8.50 plus VAT (for two years). Dot.com are £13 plus VAT (for one year).

From year two onwards, there is a cost associated with Hosting your Website and processing your Email. The cost is £30 plus VAT per year.

Additional pages can be purchased for £50 each plus VAT.

Please note: due to the set-up cost of this service, no refund is given on the initial sign-up and Domain Name cost, in the event of a cancelation.

How To Register

Registering for this quick start service has never been easier or quicker and can take no more than ten minutes to complete.

If you would prefer us to register the service for you, then simply contact us and we can complete the registration process for you whilst on the telephone. Alternatively, please follow the instructions, below.

To register, please click the red "Sign Up Today" Button, below, or click the "Register Today" link in the Navigation Menu, opposite. A new Browser Window will open.
On the first page and if you do not currently own a Web Address / Domain Name, then enter your preferred Domain Name (without the www or .co.uk part) in the first box provided i.e. yourdomainname.
Likewise, if you already own a Web Address / Domain Name, then fill in the second box, instead. This enables us to attach the Domain name to the service. Include the www and .co.uk part.
On the next page (Domain Names), if your Domain Name is available to purchase, then click the "Add to Basket" box against the domain type you want, then click the "Add Domains to Basket" button. If your domain type does not appear as an option, then this means someone else owns the Domain Name, in which case, please try a different Domain Name.
On the next page (Hosting Pacakges), scroll sown the page and select the Web Starter package by clicking it's corresponding Radio Button, then click the "Add to Basket" button
On the next page (Add-ons), if you do not require extra pages, then click the blue "No thank you, please continue with my order" link to proceed to the next step. If you require additional pages, then select the appropriate option before clicking the "Add to Basket" button.
The next page (Your Basket) will show a financial summary of the transaction. Click the "Continue to Checkout" button to proceed
On the next page (Ordering is Quick and Easy), enter a valid Email address in the box provided, then click the Radio Button next to the text starting with "No, continue to checkout....", then click the "Continue" button to proceed.
On the next page (New Customer Registration", fill in your details, then click the "Register Now" button to proceed.
On the next page (Checkout Stage One of Three), check your registration details are correct, then click the "Next" button to proceed.
On the next page (Checkout Stage Two of Three), a summary is given of the transaction. Click the Terms & Conditions box, then select the payment method from the drop-down list, then click the "Complete Order" button to proceed.
This takes you through to our Payment processor, Paypal. You can either pay by Credit or Debit card or by your Paypal account if you have one. Please follow the instructions to complete your order.

What Happens After Your Order Is Received?

You will receive three automated Emails, confirming your order. The first is sent from our system and confirms your login details to our Customer Centre. This information is required in the future when your Domain and Hosting is up for renewal.

The second Email concerns details of your Web Starter Hosting account. You can ignore this. It is not required.

The third Email will be a confirmation payment receipt from Paypal.

Once your order is complete, a dedicated Project Manager will be assigned to your account and they will telephone you within 24 hours of your order.

The Project Manager, if required, will create Email accounts for you on our Servers and will also help with creating a POP/Email account on your local PC. At this stage, they will also explain how to retrieve your Email via our Webmail facility, in the event you are away from your PC.

They will discuss the written content for your Website and offer advice on how to structure the web pages. At which stage, you will be left alone to write your content. Once completed, you simply Email the information back to us. Any pictures can also be sent to us at his stage.

Building Your New Low Cost Website Design Once the Project Manager receives all the neccessary information, they will upload it to one of the ready made web templates for you to look at. At which time, they will give you login details to our system, so you can view all other designs to decide which one you prefer.

Once confirmed, your website will be uploaded to the Internet and made viewable to the general public.

Once your Website is live, all subsequent correspondance will be made through the same Project Manager, giving you a single point of contact for subsequent changes.
